Professional Endorsements

The modern measurement used to establish magnetic field strength is in units called ‘tesla’. Effective pain relief depends not only on the strength of the individual magnets but also the proximity of them to a substantial blood flow. Many other factors affect the performance of magnetic therapy products and it is, without doubt, a complex area of study.

We are advised by our manufacturers and suppliers that the strength of the neodymium magnets in our range of products is 170 -200 milli tesla.

Medical experts commissioned by the Arthritis Research Council in 2004 recommended such strengths after a comprehensive study into the effects of magnetic therapy on a number of selected sufferers.

This study concluded that for many people, magnetic therapy ‘really works’ and ‘significantly reduces pain’ if the magnetic field is strong enough.

Further endorsement of promoting blood flow by the use of magnetic therapy was announced in The Pharmaceutical Journal of April 2006 in that the NHS was now prescribing magnetic therapy for the healing of leg ulcers.
